I spent quite a while creating this single mug, manipulating the clay several times, and then creating little stamps from other pieces of clay and impressing it into the body of the mug. My friend actually put all the glaze on here and I think it turned out like a piece of driftwood where the tree trunk still shows its life and the top of the mug is kind of how it’s weathered the storm.
